  Cozy inside, with a welcoming fireplace(a nice escape from the frigid winter temperatures). We both ordered the French onion soup, which arrived when we started getting the feeling back in our fingers.
  
  The soup was fantastic; they're definitely not stingy with the gruyere.
  
  We also ordered a cured meat & cheese board, which was also very delicious.
  
  A nice little selection of local beers to boot.

  This is a great cosy location for snacks and/or drinks. The food menu is limited but worth visiting to try the homemade french onion soup.

  Beautiful stonework on the inside, very intimate. Great place to spend a few hours playing cards / board games (available there). Friendly staff. Limited food selection though.

  Get the French onion soup. You won't regret it. It's the best version I've ever had, including compared to those I had in France. Service was SUPER friendly and sweet (to be fair, we were the only ones in the place for the first half hour). But the dude was so nice. The place feels like a great place to spend the afternoon or a chilly evening - very comfortable.
