  Cozy little bar with friendly staff. Food with home made feel over a typical pub. They make a great Irish coffee. They offer cheese platters and more.

  Tiny, but cozy place, friendly staff, live gigs (that night, there was a superb blues musician) and mulled wine. All this in one of the most romantic neighborhoods on the globe: Le Petit Champlain.

  Pape Georges is a nice little "hole in the wall bar" in the Petit Champlain district, with stone walls and a medieval feeling. Usually they have a 5$ pint-special during happy hour (4 to 7pm) with a small but decent selection of local beers. They also have a cheese board/platter with 5 or so different cheeses that pairs greatly with the beers. The only con is that service is a tad bit slow. Only 2 waitresses (1 behind the counter) and 1 on the floor for a bar with so many tables is kinda hard to manage. Overall I would recommend stopping here during happy hour for a few pints.
