  Food was great but service was extremely slow. We ordered poutine and soup. The place was half empty and it was not a busy time of day but it still took a long time to get the food. It took even longer to get the check. The whole experience took well over an hour for some poutine and soup.

  Food was decent but nothing exceptional. Service was abysmal. Two orders of Poutine took 45 minutes or so to arrive. Our waiter could barely find the time to speak to us. I've never had the check tossed on my table without a word before.

  This is a typical local food place located in the heart of old Quebec. Menu is the diner style and the clientele is older generation.

  Food was superb. Duck was great. But, as I polite patron, it would be nice to get a smile back at the very least when I say please and thank you at every turn, pay good money on drinks, appetizers and meals and tip well...perhaps I should not have. If the food wasn't excellent, I wouldn't have been as generous in giving 3 stars. If the service matched, it would be an easy 5. But, she did not seem pleased, and I did not feel welcome.

  I had a nice Fish'n chip, the waiter was very kind to us and the food was good! Also the prices were ok. I recommend this place!
