  Love this place. Small but you feel very welcomed by the workers there. The dishes have that Caribbean touch and flavor. Only 4 stars because they close at 5 :) Would be nice to sit there at night and grab a bite.

  During a short getaway to Quebec City, my husband and I were so excited when we found La Dominicaine. We are both Dominican born and had high expectations for the food, we were not disappointed at all! The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. We started off with their soup of the day, a chicken and corn tomato based Dominican soup. For our main meal we has the Bandera Dominicana (rice, pigeon peas, stewed pork and a side salad) and Pollo con Guandules (rice, pigeon peas, stewed chicken and a side salad). Both were super authentic, flavourful and filling. We both cleaned our plates (and ordered extra because it was so good) in less than 20 minutes. Cannot recommend La Dominicaine enough as a food stop in Quebec City.

  visited Quebec and saw this place on the way to a farmers market, looked nice so i tried it. It was actually very very good. Fair prices, incredibly friendly staff and amazing food. The chef often comes out to say hello and ask if you're enjoying. shes a very kind lady. dont listen to that frenchy "jplb999" its not wasted money it was very good food.
