  We make it a tradition to book Sunday brunch here whenever we're in the Quebec City area. The restaurant is beautiful, the buffet selection is excellent and if you're lucky you'll be seated in an area overlooking the St-Lawrence river.
  We were a group of 14 last time we visited and the provided us with our own private dining room. Very nice!

  Services below par. As a fine dining restaurant, waiter leaned on a chair when explaining the menu. another waiter kept you busy for asking you any comment and seems uncomfortable in seeing a lone eater. the signature dish is not as impressive at all. the plating is too much and the vegetable are salty.

  We had an excellent meal at Le Champlain in Le Chateau Frontenac. I began my meal with the grilled octopus (EXCELLENT) and Chris had the ginger oyster soup (different but tasty) and then we had the elk steak. Between each course they brought us little treats which was so nice. I only took one star off because the restaurant was freezing and the hostess told me it would warm up... never did! A very nice experience.
