  Best menu I've seen in a while. You HAVE TO try the octopus, this is their classic meal. We had the Meteque plate that let's you choose 2 meats and 2 seafoods. Great plate. We also had the croquettes combo, wow! But the rest was just as tempting. Gotta go back soon. Also opened for lunch, at least on weekdays...

  This comment is about the service I received at Le Mezze. Hearing about the wonderful food there, I made reservations for lunch with two friends on a weekday. One friend arrived on time but the two of us were 15 minutes late and when we arrived, we were told that the chef had LEFT because it was not busy that day, and since we were the only customers at that time, he could not wait for latecomers. I was 8 months pregnant and very hungry, and excited to be there, but we were simply turned away. Bye-bye! Horrible, horrible treatment of customers. Don't care how good the food is there. If the owners are not willing to go an extra step to accommodate customers, I do not want to eat there.

  Ridiculously small portions - our 1/2 pound of shrimp ("enough for a dinner entree") was literally two shrimp. They did taste good but still. The three dip sampler only tasted okay and surprisingly the size was of one dip despite being triple the price.

  I love this place, we come here regularly. The food is always, always good, the owners are so nice, it is family friendly, they have a good selection of privately imported wines.... Really recommended.

  My mom and I are from Ontario, we came to Q city for a 3 day, 2 night; girls trip! This resto was by far the highlight of our trip! Definitely delicious and authentic Greek food! There was a younger man who served us, as well as a middle aged man; who seemed to also be the chef. The chef (we assumed owner) was thrilled to be able to give us recommendations, and to be able to let us know the ratatouille was "grandmothers recipe". They poured out wine and beer at the table, served olives (black and green) first thing as we sat down, and promptly brought over bread with oil and vinegar. We ordered grilled Hamouli cheese, ratatouille, and Cornish hen with a rice stuffed red pepper. The atmosphere is quaint and simple, homey, and enjoyable. We LOVED it here, the service was FABULOUS, and the food was amazing! I wish we got their names.. Cheers!
